Mental image of me and Strayjuliet? Our pics are in my profile (and you can see what our oldest son looked like before he was born).

I do build up mental images of people here and I'm often surprised when I meet them in person or see pics of them (or video, in Hitcher's case) on KB.

Skunk was nothing like I imagined him, Str8 looked nothing like I imagined but she is just as manic in real life as she is on KB

and she's not remotely a huge lard-arse.

Normally people look older or younger than I imagine them as I seldom check the ages of those who bother to put their birth year in their profiles.

Aww shucks, thanks Wolf! The funny thing is you kinda looked like how I imagined you when I met you, but of course you were much better looking!

Wolf's got it.....not a thread about WINJA per se. Just mental images that we have of those we 'know' but haven't met in person. So who has what image of who??

I have an image of Dangerous as a manic looking ginga who brutalises any bike he gets on but is also pretty fanatic about keeping bikes clean,

But having actually met him helps the 'image'

Well I pictured Scumdog as a huge hulking manly man with a permanent two-day growth, trailling a cloud of manly pheromones in the middle of an impenetrable huddle of ladies, drinking rum and bourbon from bottles and crushing them afterwards, riding a big dangerous Harley that only he is man enough to handle but never at high speed cos he knows he's got nothing to prove to anyone, with a couple of huge black snarling dogs that no-one else can get near, and a totally stunning blonde nurse as his constant companion who is the only person in the world that can tame him, able to sum up any situation with staggering wisdom in three words or less delivered in a deep manly voice but never above a normal volume because everyone stops and listens to everything he says.

And I was pretty much bang on!

IDB:
grey haired, relatively fit older guy, gnarly hands from fixing stuff, wears long shorts and sandels 'cept when riding, could see him riding his restored Indian (bike)

The_Dover:
Solid chap about 6 foot tall, boyish grin, means well, breaks stuff occasionally (not trying to)

Cowpoos:
Wolly farmer type, gumboots, ripped jeans, check shirt, facial growth after a hard night boozing, likes dueling banjoes a little too well....

MSTRS:
as stated previously.....

Others I've seen your profile pics or pics of you doing stuff on here (TLrider you've a face that'd sink a thousand ships!!) I'll get to know ya all in real life and no doubt those views will change .... or not!!

Despite my on-line persona I'm actually an 18 year old blonde girl who has recently been kicked out of the convent for wearing my habit a little too high and a little too tight.
I'm lost and frightened and just need a big strong kind man to educate me in the ways of the world..........but where can I find such a man?

I'll back that up, in reality idb is nothing but a common slapper who got turfed out of the Central Otago Home for Wayward Girls - (which she claimed was a "Convent") for being too wayward.
