ahhh, so that's what you say when you fall of a Harley on a gentle corner, it was the cops fault I didn't pull over, and then when i didn't pull over they tried to side swipe me...yeah right...

Doing a runner in town on a Harley is not the best....choose your battles wisely.
Out of town 140+, cop coming towards you, flashes the blue and reds. You know the roads, you are riding a 600+ sportsbike......then it gets interesting, lots of KB'ers would try it.

I can put you in touch with 2 guys that have done runners recently. you'll have to go and visit them however - it will be a few years before they can travel anywhere by themselves.
if they had stopped it would have been a $120 fine.

When I'm out for a ride nobody on yellow sprotsbikes waves to me even if I wave first, people on other sprotsbikes do, are yellow ones harder to ride??

Like I said, you choose your battles.
If some choose to run when all factors are not in their favour then thats their fault........trouble is most choose wrong.....or do we just not hear of the ones that get away???

I can also speak to 3 or 4 acquaintances that have done runners and got away
Of course I don't condone their activities.
Motu, Im not saying I would do it, just that its obviously possible. I've seen how some cops drive and they can't drive their big POS cars for shit.

I assume you mean 'some' cops - like 'some' riders are good enough to do a runner - successfully!

I was talking to a guy yesterday who did a runner on a fat Harley of some sort, and got away with it.

I think most of the guys who do a runner and get away with it...aren't really doing a runner,it's just in their own mind...it wasn't really a chase.Real chases are for real, and the runner seldom gets away.

Yeah maha man, would make my bike look sssseeexy. Could also fit a suicide clutch and remove the rear shock and then really hammer the turns.
I'd actually love a chopper, but Im a bit skinny to get away with riding it methinks.
