    Dyno results

After fitting a K&N filter, Power Commander and a Micron pipe, the lads at AMPS set it up on the Dyno. 76 Lbs Torque and 148 RWHP. The power delivery is alot smoother now and it got rid of that flat spot up to and around 5K. Didn't notice a significant increase in power but it sounds real angry.

So I thought I better give it the real test so did the Coro loop today with FishSlayer, another KB'er (forgot his KB name- sorry man on gigantuan) and a mate. Wound it out at one stage and my seat cowl came off, flew in front of me (how does that happen?) and wacked me on the arm and then disappeared into the bushes. We did a recky but to no avail. Expensive trip but better than shinning the office chair with my ass.

Thanks to the team at AMPS, they did a great job setting it up.

I thought you'd be impressed, 148 at the wheel is pretty damn good.
Was it you guys I saw on the Miranda Rd at around 11.00?

After all the cock measuring has finished, please remember to not directly compare different dynos if you are doing so.

Home made dyno's aren't accurate, you should know that. And remember, you can spend as much as you like on a GSXR, but at the end of the day it's still the ugliest thing on two wheels. I'm feeling sick just thinking about it. When they revisit their design, fix their reliability issues and add some technology, I'll consider one.

it is, thats why you go and get a racefit one... they look good and sound good too...

Don't know if it adds much to performance tho, would have to ask dover or anyone else who has one.

Never heard of him, any relation to Brian?
