I like the fact you can join/belong/read KB and be who ever you are, wherever you come from.... learn a lot about bikes and meet a wide variety of people in a friendly environment who all share one great love...

I've got enough clubs now, leave it as it is. With clubs comes all the hard work and arguing. This way we can argue and it doesn't matter - no remits, rules and all that stuff, and when we are ready to ride we do.
    Cheers

Is that a dig at the number of single, rootless, hopeless people on this site Mr PiNZ?

Not very nice is it? But I agree, we should ditch the losers before the swinging begins.

Why do we need to introduce buerocracy to it? .
Whats good about the KB site is there are no clicks. and if there are, you don't know about them - because you tend to gravitate (cyberly) to riders that have the same type of personalities as you as there are so many of us
to choose to "hang with" . with clubs there is always BS politics - No thanks. KB works just fine as it is.

In fact I have been a member for about 3 years which for me is a long time and I'm guessing its because
    theres no politics

Use to be into clubs. Met the misses and did not need it. Left it back in the cave where it belongs.

I'm all for the status quo (and the band too) as I prefer to be linked with a loose packed bunch of dingbat scruffy drunken speeding reprobate bike riders.

    Makes ME look good.

KB badges/T-shirts etc is all we need eh?

Arrow No. Don't feck up kiwibiker please

Turning KB into anything resembling a club or whateveryouwanttocallit IMO is a totally fucking dumb idea.
Want to join a club, there are ones allready available. But some don't like Japanese bikes.
Its my understanding that KB is just for people who are into motorcycles, period. Yea we have all sorts of personalities here, but IMO thats a good thing and makes the place both interesting and a good source of laughter.
I got a bit concerned when I started reading this thread, thinking that the place was going to totally turn to shit and this lame idea might become reality. But thankfully spank's idea is along the same lines with mine on what we are all about. For those who really want to join a club, feel free. But don't try to change things here as some of us actually like it just the way it is.

    Sticker

I think I will get me one of those KB Stickers and put it on my bike. Everyone here seems to be helpful and friendly. Wonder if I would get beat up in a pub for the sticker.

A Honda is by far too much of a precision piece of machinery to put something like that on.

I quite happily put some stickers on the Yamaha and once I pick up the K3 custard sooooki I'll be putting a KB stcker on that too

A lot of the comments made have made a lto of sense... I'm proud to be a member of KB even if it isn't an actual registered club... I didn't realise so much time and effort went into setting one up and keeping it going... now that this has been pointed out to me, I'd vote for option 2. But thanks for all the responses anyway
