wot, just cos you gots yerself a shiny new ride you thinks you own the Coromandel now?!

yeh, as a 'tribute group ride' that was awesome! stoked i got the old girl out for that one.
had a 'slapper moment' on the way back; just after Tairua, on the gas over the bridge that leads onto a straight = bang bang bang bang lock-to-lock...felt a bit for a few mins after that!

only got 2 or 3 pics of us all at Summit,will post em once camera's fixed.

Well, we're home again after we met up with Kendog to check out his new GSX-R 750. We rode via Pyes Pa Road through to Rotovegas, grabbed a bite to eat, and then sent him on his way towards Taupo. He certainly looked like one very happy camper on his new bike!

Saul came for half the ride, while Waylander, MidnightMike, Cajun and I came back through the Mamakus and over the Kaimais. Had a good ride up the Kaimais except for a tart in a gold Mazda 6 who wouldn't get the hell out of the passing lane

My Aprilia went bloody well I'm getting more confident on it with each ride

Cajun and I lived on McLaren Falls Road (first road on the right after the Kaimai School) for many, many years so we know that road particularly well. You did really well down Rapurapu Road!

I was keeping up alright round the corners just the straights are a problem, riding a 30hp whale up hill and all....
