Dont worry about your crank... I'll be cool, but it's something to keep in mind for next time.

4 coils is something I'm not familiar with, take the coils to an auto elec's to get them tested... will save you heaps of work and frustation (it'll only take them 5 minutes)

I'm off to Napier this weekend to get my track-day bike, it's only 125 but I'll sort that out with a 200cc implant for now and a 500 2stroke later.

hehehehe... I have photos but I'm not going to show anyone

    Waylanders brick

Just got back from have a look at waylanders bike. ok, lets just say romoving the coil and getting to the ht lead is A LOT easier said than done on his bike....

we drained the coolant just so we could get a look at the coil, just to find out that there was the ignition in the way, so we move that, just to find that the HT cable is on the other side of the coil, which needs to be removed, but one of the screws is right up against the frame and near impossible to get at...

And my manual shows four starting coils. #1 & #3 at the back under the seat. #2 & #4 at the front under the airbox next to the carbs.
Gonna try swapping the uspected foul one out for one of the rear cylinders and see if the problem follows as suggested. But that is after I do that with the leads. And they are replaceable and easy to get off and on if not easy to get too.
dude you should buy a harley, it would break down less.

    Thumbs up Puncture repair kit

Just bought a little one for $20 at Bayride Tauranga.

    I'm pretty happy about that

It had to be a little one to fit in the little space that I have on my little bike
