Yep me and ol BB2 had a great day alright - talk about four seasons in one day, we had a bit of fun in the snow.

Caught us off guard really as there was no warning - straight over a slight rise in the road then into the snow, it only went for about 100 metres must have been an isolated fall, it had already claimed one car which had slid off the road into a ditch, people were already helping him out so we decided to continue on.

As for running out of gas, what a dick head, but on a positive note I picked a good spot to do it.

Rain was just starting to get heavy just passed a few bikers about 2 ks back sheltering from the rain, then the dreaded splutter, stopped out side a farm house under some pine tree's waited a couple of minutes for my trusty buddy bb2 to arrive back.

Decided to go in and ask the farmer if we could lend a sifeining hose and a container to get some gas out of bb2 s bike, Couldn't believe my eye's when we walked through the gate - there was the Bro with all his Whanau having a few quite one's out on the varanda.

Sorted out the gas, then went back to share a kiaora beer with them, said our good byes and thanks and off we went.

    home about 9.30pm great day.
cheers to my ol mate BB2
