What a day! Awesome weather, not to hot, heaps of good racing, saw a few crashes, plenty of people I knew and bucketloads of fun!
    Another Awesome day at Paeroa.
"I came into this game for the action, the excitement... go anywhere, travel light,... get in, get out,... wherever there's trouble, a man alone... Now they got the whole country sectioned off; you can't make a move without a form."

Paved roads are just another example of wasted tax payer dollars.

Yup, we had a good time ourselves and I'm looking forward to seeing the pics Hedgie took with his new camera (particularly the tongue and cheek ones). There was enough carnage to keep me interested and we had a wicked day.

    Good to meet you Chris.
Waylander told us of your misfotune at Whangamata Not like a mighty Yammy to fall to pieces like that!

We had a choice ride through the hills and Sharon had a blast on the back after 2 years away from the pillion seat
New Quasi gloves for me and a new Quasi jacket for Sharon
Oh and the racing was pretty damn great too!

Pleased to put some faces to names, will have to meet you all again on a Thursday night at Drivers or the Oko

Sucks mate, but good thing it happened when it did rather than in the middle of the twisties...

On a side note, the guzzi that passed us just before Omokoroa was my boss.

Welcome out with us anytime, shame about the bolt. All things being equal there are usually people going over to the Oko on Thursdays, its a good little pootle not too far but a nice open road run. Then Drivers afterwards we are usually there about 7.
And Doug what you talking about my packhorse was just as loaded up (counting pillion).

Is there a common meeting spot/time for the Oko ride?

Yes usually about 5pm at Tauriko Service Station. You can always count on Blackbird2 (stephen) to turn up if anyone. I like to try to get along, and Mr Korholio likes to pootle over there from The Love. We also catch up with some neat people from Rotorua at the Oko, its a great night in general.
