Tom you are doing the business degree, you should know how insurance works. If it's a write off the insurance company pays Mike out and the bike is then theirs. So Mike doesn't decide who can have it. DURRRR.

Perfection is not something you should ever attain, but something to always strive for. For if we actually achieve our idea of perfection, is it then any longer perfect?

Exactly right, and according to them (Ive called them today) It doesnt take much to write a bike off.

Id rather try and fix it and get it back to the way it was.

Although I did buy a lotto ticket this arvo, so if I came off with a bit of $$$ It would end up looking like this: *Dream SV fighter*

Mike could take his payout, then make an offer to buy the wreck (cheap), then he could either fix it, fighter it, or sell it to Tom for a significant profit and then get something new with more money in his back pocket!
Get rid of those NANA knickers, and FIGHTER it!

They may just write it off Mike because it doesnt take much as stated earlier. Take the repair cost off the insured price and make them an offer under that, you just might be surprised. As long as the main frame and front end are straight it could be worth it. You may get it back on the road for bugger all! It would look like its been binned but it would be warrantable. Then on sell it and to top up your new bike fund.

MMMmmm, is there room in the garage? No Tony! you dont need another bike! you just need one that goes and is legal!!!

The SV would be an easy fighter though!

Stay at home and drink rum by myself

Go to Drivers and see some great people, but get frozen cold

Or go round to Nodrogs and rub vicks on his chest (cause he wants me to) as hes a little poorly.
