A better idea would be to ride back at legal speeds and listen to the engine... feel the bike in the corners and learn the new steeds needs.

Stock pipes, can't hear the engine at anything over 50kmh. Will be riding around all day friday the 15th in Christchurch getting used to the bike and learning it, and had no intention of riding lunatic styles all the way up. Why do you think I'm taking 3 days for the northward trip? Gonna stopover in wellington for a day to recover. Will have a few days worth of clothes with me in saddle bags so can't be too crazy.
Also the ride up is for getting used to the bike in the corners hence why I am flying down to get it instead of shipping it up.
