Cool Triumph 675 The bike the Japs can't beat.

Its out then, the PB issue with the girlz bike.

"Three years on , The Japanese still can't beat the 675".

Great write ups and totaly truthful no bias at all

So for your viewing pleasure and the greater good.

May I present the GIRLZ bike

Its a bit hard to read in the scanned format sorry about that.

Here is what some of the words say.

"Honda CBR600rr its not as alive as the 675".
"Kawasaki ZX- 6R Its not as flexable as the 675".
"Suzuki GSXR 600 its not as exciting as the 675".
"Yamaha R6 Its not as flexable as the 675".

No hate mail or red rep please, they are direct quotes, lol giggle snigger

My nephew's in the army overseas and because his uncle is soooo cool and rides a bike, he wants one too. There's one in the bay that he likes the look of.

It's a Kawasaki ZXR import. It has a bit of gravel rash, rusty chain and is unregistered atm but he is keen on it if there's nothing nasty to worry about. It's at Adrenalyn Motorcyles (whoever they are). This is the listing

If anyone there would like to check it out there's a bed and a beer here when you're next in Welly.
I will try and get down there tomorrow and have a look for you as my work is not far away. I will pm you once I have done it.

Got another bike today to add to the collection. Bike number 6 is an SRX400 that belonged to Jimbo. I will get it legal then teach the wife to ride, I will let you know tomorrow how well it does burnouts!

Perfection is not something you should ever attain, but something to always strive for. For if we actually achieve our idea of perfection, is it then any longer perfect?

    Thunderstorms in Aussie!

Well I arrived here today to get away from the bad weather and guess what, there are thunderstorms predicted for tomorrow, which will not impress me as Im getting my new hair do in the morning. Half my bloody luck, I want a refund from the Aussie government for false advertising, come to the gold coast for sunshine, yea right. I guess you guys are going to have nothing but beautiful weather for the next five days.
Anyway, food is cheap, beer is horrifically expensive ($18 for a 1/2 doz of some strange sounding lager), except if you drink at the pub, then a scooner is ony $3.50, or a middy $2.00! Now I know why all the Aussie sit in the pubs all day. Yep, it was busy at 10am this morning. Off to Pacific Fair and Surfers tomorrow, then Brisbane on Saturday.
Enjoy Thursday night and the track day on Friday for those who are going.

    yeh yeh...

what about the interviews with Martin & McGuinness though? quality reads those!
apparently McG dislocated his arm at the NW200 and popped it back in while he was on the bike
and Guy Martin says that McGuinness could make him into a TT winner with just one sentence...
