Firstly no damage.
Broken mirror, clutch leaver and minor scratches on bike
Sore ankle, inner thigh and ego

Idrumm and I went out with BRide today Kopu to Whitianga, I was passing a truck at the top of the hill just before Whiti and had to break hard after I got past, rear started to skip and went out on me, I let it go briefly and the bike wiggled and went out again under decell (twins... shesh), the bike slid across the road sideways between 2 on coming cars (thanks to the guy in the ute, I owe you one) missing a ute by inches and backed the bike into an ss holden (a new one too) parked on the roadside.

Put the bike down just after I hit it.

I did my darndest not to hit it but the rear wheel and can left a few marks and scratches, I'm bummed about this more than anything... looked like $100 damage but you know insurance Co's... I'll expect $500.

ID and another guy stopped to make sure I was OK... I'm sweetas... bit sore now that Im home and Trudy can feel sorry for me and make me coffee.
I wasnt going to tell her until the insurance bill came thru but my mirror was hanging off the bike when I got home.

There were alot of guys on the road, I started in the mid pack but they're too slow so I left them behind and was chasing the front pack... too cocky... dont know twins that well (learnt sommit today) and should have just enjoyed the sun.

Oh well... at the end of the day these's no real harm done... except for the chick in the back of the holden watching me slide towards her sideways at 100k LOL
