Hehe Manu was rocking Me and Fish had a blast....He wasnt too pissed when I passed him around the outside on his own bike and then again on my bike lol... He even took the canary off road for a cruise in the run off area before deciding the track was a better surface to ride on Quite impressed with how the VTR went ...managed a nice stand up wheelie down past the pit straight... Spud couldnt get on the track as he was on the waiting list but she was chocka, so he drove into town and got some piss and watched the rest of the day.

I'm trying to organise a treat for my 15 y/o 1,6R learner son for december. He's done damn well in school, and, well, in most other stuff too.

I'd like to get him on the taupo track on a bike with some nuts - either a tangy 250cc ish two-stroker, or a howlin' inline4 under or around 600cc, and a little guidance on how to do it. He has about 8,000km on his own roadbike, races his own B1 rep pocketbike, and is a super nice kid.

I'm happy to cover your costs and a bit, if anyone would like to show a nice young chap the ropes.

    many thanks,
    Steve

    Thanks for that, Alan.

He will be quite able to handle a largish bike. I'll get him some time on my 650 beforehand also - He's ridden that before quite happily. He's quite methodical and not inclined to go deathwish on any vehicle.

Hi my bike got stolen last night

Could all you nice tauranga kiwibikers keep an eye out for a black, purple and orangey rg150 1998 the bike has a few distinguishing features it has 2 grazes on the tail piece one on each side and the seat fabric had ripped exposing the foam. The rear tyre is also bald and unwarrentable, the current wof and rego is expired too the licence playe number is 36TWC. I have already filed a police report so if you see it could you plz call the police.
