I tried to txt everyone I have numbers for yesterday re the oil spill on the Kaimais... it'll still be there today, it was vege oil and it caked like butter... cars were sliding around too and would have spread it all over the place.

As far as I know it runs from the Oko turn-off at the bottom of the hill to the look-out at the top... tanker had a major leak, he stopped and fixed it at the summit after some people stopped him.

Should be OK next week

That's a long spill, I'm just glad it wasn't there Fri otherwise I might of had a bad day, Took a GSXR600K6 for a thrash over the hill. Fun bike to

hey guys,
sorry i missed the loop ride sounds like it was great, had to get new tyre on rear. went for a ride round the lakes loop to scuff it a bit. they are laying some new chip at the bridges in some areas. about 50 - 100 meters after there 100ks work ends sign there is a lot of loose chip on the road.
had a couple of sideways movements, only one across the centre line,
so take it easy in that area.

Well I just got back from a ride up through whangamata to the Kopu T intersection, roads were in fine condition, I LOVE my new tyre ... I can lean in corners again!! (well as much as I do... ) Must be tyre changing season, Glen just put on a new/renewed front, think this meant he only had to wait 5mins for me instead of 10! Don't think it will be to long and Jesse will have his own bike, he looked quite comfortable sitting on the 250...

You know me DD, any excuse for a drink .. I like listening to you sing Kareoke... YOU'RE A STAR!!! shame Nz Idol cut off is 27....

Sorry mate it was just a tootle in the park, err a shake down, a reconnoitre for next time, we were making sure all the burnt out cars were being picked up.
