    Tauranga Rant and Rave

Alright, after a few of us did this last week we've decided to make it a regular occasion....

    When: 1730 (5:30pm) Thursday Nights
Where: Drivers Bar, Behind McDonalds, Corner 11th Ave & Cameron Road
What: Just a social get-together, a couple of cold ones and some shit-spinning.

We've noticed that there's alot of members around the Tauranga area that we haven't had the opportunity to meet. So all are welcome (out of towners incl) and hopefully we'll get the chance to meet some new faces. There's no ride involved at this stage, you're welcome to ride to the pub or bring the cage.

Wybmadiity works here, and the publican is really good and will look after us. Last week they shouted us a bowl of hot chips.

So come along for a yarn, I promise to make sure Dingdong is on his best behavour, and he won't bite!

    See you there,
    Mark

Edit: For the newcomers, please don't bother reading the 100's of pages of drivel that follow this post.

You will only lose hours of your life that I will not refund and you will probably be a bit dumber afterwards too. All you will learn is that wybmadiity no longer works at the pub, the canadian is abit weird and really sux at picking up chicks, BB2 has questionable sexuality as he rides a honduh, don't piss BabyB off because she' s got a look that will make you feel the size of a peanut, and i have an unhealthy habit of biffing bikes down the road .

So just turn up on the night and introduce yourself (we're the ones with the helmets and bike jackets incase you're wondering), we're a friendly bunch and won't bite (except for DD, i don't recommend standing next to him if he hasn't been feed lately).
Or skip to the last page of this thread and say hi there.

    cheers.

It's just one of those days, where you don't wanna wake up,
    everything is fucked, everybody sucks,
You don't really know why but you wanna justify ripping someone's head off

You could set up your own weekly pub visit in Perth and we could all drop in when we are in the neighbourhood.

Head down Maunganui road toward the Mount.
If you get to the Main shopping centre you have gone too far.

Or if you go down Totara St to the Mount end (just past Mount Motorcycles, the BMW dealer etc) I think the Fire station is on your left(?) you are looking at Breakers, Navigator is aparently just over Maunganui road.

    Coro Loop timing

Well off topic I know, but something you Tauranga based riders will know better than anyone else.

Realising there is not a correct answer due to the variables, what time is reasonable to allow for the Coro Loop from Tauranga back to Tauranga??

Thinking of when Kids are at school and Wife is at work .....

    Thanks.

    Yeah Mike, summint like that.
Really just wondering if I got time to leave after the kids go to school (8ish) and be home by 3:30 without pushing too hard.
Never been round the Coro loop so don't know.
Maybe I should ask at the Navigator on Thursday night.

    Leave 8:30am
    Break in Kopu at 10am
Around the loop to Waihi at 1:00pm for lunch
    Home by 2:30pm

You shouldnt have much of a problem... but the loops better when you go with friends.
See you at the Pub Thursday anyway
