Learners' scratch and win

Hi all. Just wondering how different the motorbike road code is to the car one, Ive done my Basic handling skills, just need to do my scratch 'n' sniff test but I'm pretty confident with the car road code, should I bother buying a motorbike one or just try and wing it, surely its all common sense stuff. Is there much different in the way of technical stuff like following distance and overtaking and things or is it all pretty much the same?

Yep its common sense...... but then some have it, some don't.

the learner licence is 25 road code question and 10 bike road code questions.

the latest road code book has all 225 questions (150 normal and 75 bike) with all the answers.

alot of them are double ups, will take you about 45mins to memerize them all.

i read the book the night before the test and scored 100%.

See if you can get a copy out of the library, cheaper than having to buy one (it's not going to become an invaluable part of your home reference library after the test is it?). All the questions are in the back, some are obvious, some are less obvious. And if you already know what to expect you are less likely to panic and do something dumb in the test. (like answer that you should clean your helmet with petrol, rather than soap and water).

go to that site, it has a bunch of test questions. Just did my Learner's today, passed 100%, if you have common sense, you should pass no problem Good luck

This website has been setup by the NZIDI (New Zealand Institute Of Driving Instructors) it is the best way to practice if you are worried. Hope it helps.
