Had every intention of going, even bought a new tent at the Kathmandu sale at Invercargill!
Unfortunately had an off and bent my bike and my leg, just got the bike (luggage racks) back together again yesterday, all straight and tidy now.
We were in Balclutha Thursday week back and tried to look you up but your colleges either couldn't or wouldn't give away where or how to find you.
In some ways that's probably a good thing I could only remember Tom who rides a Harley and scumdog.:spudwhat:
We moved on round the Catlins next morning and was it bloody cold!!! but a brilliant ride. Went down all the little side roads etc, through Bluff and Riversdale, Otautau, Mossburn, Athol and back home over the Crown Range.
Apart from the silly embarrassing wee off, it was a very interesting and enjoyable trip.
Sorry I missed the "Off the rails" though but had to fix the luggage first, cant keep tieing it together with ropes and duct tape forever! Cheers John.
PS: There is no "Scumdog" in the Balclutha phone book! Can you fix that?

Hmm, that's a bit of a mystery, I'll chase it up - normally if somebody drops in and asks for me they'll give me a phone call at home and mention that there is somebody to see me.

I arrived home about an hour ago after a perfect ride. The weather was perfect both ways, a great venue for a rally and good entertainment.

Sorry I've got no pics (I forgot to take my camera), but HondaV2 took quite a few. Including some of him cuddling up to one of the Wet T contestants.
    Time to ride
