    Eastern Bay Ride

The Mountain to the Sea Run calendar has been updated.
This Sunday will see a great turn out of bikes. Lots of giveaways so a good chance of taking something home.
Looking for somewhere to stay close to Kawerau, places are filling up so one needs to get in to reserve some accomodation.

It will be great to see a cancer unit established in the Eastern Bay of Plenty.
Join with us and make it a reality.

    Another great ride

A great turnout of 169 badges sold.
Only the best weather is in the Bay of Plenty and it was turned on for us.
A total of 35 draws saw many take home something from our sponsers.
The no overtaking rule was adheared to as was the staggered riding for those who wanted to know. We had most types of bike present from little 50cc scooters to the Honda Rune and Triumph Rocket 111.
The BBQ was swamped by hungry patrons though appeared to keep up with the demand.
    Oldest Rider was 80
Oldest bikes were :1951 BSA and a 1951 Royal Enfield, the Enfield took out the prize as it had original plates.
Furthest Traveller came from Torbay Auckland.
