Rusty Nuts M/C 20th Anniversary Run

To celebrate the 20th year of the RNMC we are putting on a week long ride
which celebrates NZ in all it's NZness.
Starting in Russell on 13th of March and ending in Bluff at our clubroms on Friday 17th March. This tour will take in side tours to heaps of NZ's most loved ICON in the format of a real live TikiTour.
Photos must be taken of around a dozen or so ICONS each day some seperated by hundreds of miles. You will need to have the RNMC supplied flag in each phot to stop anyone cheating.
Some of the days the rides are very challenging - read bloody hard- other days are less so still hard - but not real hard.
    Further details from rustyinfo@rustynuts.co.nz

Also due to high demand the 20th Grand Challenge has already opened (usually opens around March/April), there are always limited spaces and the 20th Anniversary GC already has a a swag of entries from this years run from those who dont want to miss out.

    Details on our website
If you say either "I can" or "I can't" your correct.

The five dayer sounds cool, Lee. Might look at doing that (sounds like good SC practice ). Don't even want to think how long the report would take me to write but (think I'll give the report bit a miss, aye).

Must admit, fancy it myself. Chuck a few days holiday on the end, to discover the south island.

This will be no holiday ride but more of a challange/endro-touring ride if any of the other Rusty events are to go by. Ask Jantar, Blackbird and Mangell6 if they wanted to tour after the Southern Cross.
Lee, we would love a few more details, please.

lol... yea... I know... still have to make it home right? (which is again on the other end of the country)

I did Auckland to Te Anau last year in 5 days touring the back roads... should be able to do that at lease again (if not more) then stay in Wanaka (or some where else) for a few days to recoop... and then start the tour?

Well is sat at 18-19 the whole of the coro loop so 16 shouldnt be much trouble, If i sit at 120 and go a fair pace through the corners will I be able to make it? I can ride allday long with out a break will have to stop for fuel of course...

    Go on ask, the answer may surprise you . . . . . .

This is surely an event, saving the dollars and getting the riding in.

I think me, because I made an ASS-U-ME that I am sure that Mangell6 would like to correct. So how far did you tour straight after the SC, Mangell6?
