Arrow Tech Help Required - Download / Website Content Issues

    Hey

Can anyone tell me why when I can't get the aplet, or activx, or whatever to run on the following page:

I open up the Apple Quicktime Player, click Help, then Update Existing Software, then Update now, then the page that loads is: http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/win.html

All I get is the right-hand side of what should be a dual sided rectangle! It works fine on my dad's Win 98 laptop, but not on my NEW friggen machine. I have Apple Quicktime 7.0.4, and I want the new version, 7.1! I have the latest DirectX installed, latest Macromedia Flash player installed, latest Adobe Acrobat Reader, latest Apple iTunes, version 6 (6.0.4.2), Windows XP Professional Service Pack 2, Microsoft Update is up to date, with ALL available updates downloaded (MS Update updates all MS components on your system incl. Office, Windows XP Pro, security patches, etc...) AND Dell Support 3.1 which is completely up to date (Dell Support updates all system software, components, hardware/software drivers, patches, etc. for your physical system). Got McAfee Security Centre running, and completely up to date (firewall, privacy protection, Spam protection and anti-virus).

All I am going to update next is my boot up the back port of my laptop!
    Err, help / advice?

    Cheers,
    Dave.

oh, also, microsoft was forced to update IE with a hidden patch that won't automatically run java, flash and that sorta stuff . Some conflict with a company about something - Google is your friend if you want to know more. It will say something like "Click here to automate/start this control".

Update available from Microsoft, KB912942 or something off the top of my head. Naturally, Firefox is unaffected...

Ok, so while posting that last post, the Java runtime / control panel popped up. I don't bloody know how, or why, but after I clicked post it jumped up, and I clicked update. It updated, and now the latest Java Runtime is installed!

However, this has not solved my problem Why
