About to make my Newbie status complete!

    Hey there All

Its all about to happen! I am expecting to complete my Theory test tomorrow and get that Learners licence (or maybe that should read "a Licence to Learn") after completing my Handling skills test with John Wright on Saturday (this guy rocks - and he is a person I would recommend to anyone looking to do this)

When the time is right, I will be going back to him for the Advanced course he offers, but there is quite a few safe miles of riding to complete before that...

Shelled out for the new VTR250 last Friday, Insurance etc will be sorted tomorrow morning - and my good mate Terbang is going to ride it home for me after the gear shopping is complete, and the good people at AMPS release this machine into my custody

Looking forward to letting the learning begin, so the newbies ride on the 5th of March will be my first live taste with you folks from KiwiBiker.

    Cheers!

    Blair

Congrats on the handling skills, good luck with the scratchies, and welcome aboard.

Well - all went very well today - aced the scratchie (100%) and now have the licence to learn... The VTR needed a throttle tweak (cheers Terbang!), and then the pair of us went for a short ride from home to Ardmore and back

Its fair to say I am Hooked! it will be difficult to keep me off this thing now :-)

Look forward to Sunday's Newbie ride! May see some of you then!

    Cheers
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure...
