Cool BBQ At BabyB's Sat 25th March. with morning ride

We will be having a BBQ Lunch at at my place on Saturday 25th March. We have laid out a plan for the morning ride (rain will not stop this event)
    All KBers will be welcome.
Tent space and some floor space and shitty coffee available for the bold.

RIB has volinteered ta burn ya steaks 'n' weaners for ya, but ya will need to bring them (or a salad). BYO ya own booze. (water & some coke, lemonaid will be avalible)

This will be a Poss "House Cooling" BBQ as this place is on the market. Ya can wear black if ya like but it is not complusary .

RIB has organised a ride as part of this. ...UPDATED 23/03 about 160km, estimate time 2-2.5 hours
OK Ride will start from BabyB's 10am Sharp ( txt/ph BabyB on 027 4319159 for the address, it is near the Pyes Pa School). Please don't dilly-dally as we only have a little time before lunch to do this ride.
First Stop will be at Tauriko Service Station for fueling, so if you can not find BabyB's my advice is to wait for us at that Service Station (if ya not there before 10:15pm we will be gone).
The next gathering point for any riders who have not jointed us by now is Tirau. RIB wants ta be there 10:45am, where he will be gathering in the bikes again. Please Txt RIB on 027 4534350 if ya intend meeting us here. Will be leaving Tirau 11am sharp, so if ya not there by then we will have gone.
We will be heading to Rotovas and taking some side roads that lead back to Pyes Pa Rd. If ya wait for us at the Pyes Pa/Ngongotaha T-intersection you might just catch us there between 11:30am & 12:30pm. We will not be turning there but going straight on to Hamurana and then looping back ta Pyes Pa via a cool side road.
If ya lost or late (later than 12noon) txt/ph BabyB (027 4319159) for directions ta BabyB's place & head straight back there.
Please remember that we are expecting an increase in traffic on Pyes Pa due to the Rally.

i do have plenty of hard floor space available inside to kip down on ..has a couple Dbl airbeds available (probably equipped with slow leeks ).

PM me let me know please if ya comming for B&B with self-service, bad coffee, burnt food, hard floors or flat beds & ill through in a couple of rugrats for early morning anoyancesYour more than welcome

ah aint life grand so lets make it a good one.

Don't Forget To Read could ya reg ya interest in the Calender here Lunchtime KB BBQ At BabyB's so that we can get an idea ruffly of how many are coming to this
    Thanks

Anyone in need of exact directions /address to get to my place ....... please PM me, or txt/ph 0274319159.....i am on Oropi Gorge, Pyes Pa, Sth Tauranga.....

Pyes Pa and Oropi Gorge Roads - extra traffic will start around 2pm at a gess. due to being named as 1 of access roads to viewing points.

    22 March
Ok the Tour part of the TMMC Rally is running on Upper Pyes Pa Road. estimated time being 10.15 am. They & I have been in contact/ discussion & each aware of the other. Our paths should not cross but there will be increased traffic morning & after noon.
Please be aware & ride it respectfully just in case....I dint want phone calls from TMMC
Will be looking forward to seeing you all. meet new faces & catch up with old faces ride will be premo but no guarantees that the coffee or bangers will be palatable

Well what would you do? Run through the streets stark naked at 350 miles per hour with bells on your toes?

So Far Sat looks the go. If we do Sat I will be probably High tailing it back to Whangarei no later than 4pm after would as I will have Customer champing at the bit ( well they are horses) as this is the end of my Holiday, so riding company will be welcome as long as they are happy to stick with me. I usually return over the Kaimai's via Matamata to Whangarei. Took me 4hrs 5min today (Tau to Bombay BP 1 1/2hrs) cause I was running late (Flat tyre, honest). It takes 5hrs normal (Tau to Bombay BP 1 3/4hrs), if I'm lazy and eat a full meal on the way, or 4 1/2Hrs if I only fuel and scoff a pie.
Have a few back roads it mind for a ride before hand, will detail this later.

    Thanks,

    Doug
