    Suzuki RG 150 parts wanted

In the South Island we have over 60 RG 150's in race trim. Keeping these going inevitably need lots of bits, so anyone with dead bikes or bits we'd be pleased to buy this stuff. Contact petejones@xtra.co.nz. Thanks

I understood there were only about 100 RG150's sold new in NZ....and I didn't think they were valuable enough to import on the 'Grey' market from Thailand.

therefore if you've got around 60 then there can't be more than 20 or so floating about up here (allowing for 7 years of write offs).

    Good luck.

If you get together a cooperative to get new parts from Suzuki then let me know coz I'll need bits for our RG before too long too.
In space, no one can smell your fart.

    Rg 150 bits

I heard there were 300 sold, around '98. They were actually made in '96, came to New Zealand as a "one off" to ease a stock surplus in Asia.
As for keeping these going, Suzuki NZ are doing a good job with most key spares available. But in this interest I'm 80% emthusiast, 20% business person, so have stocked up on parts myself. I had 25 piston kits and 12 rod kits recently. Soon I will be making a batch of single stage power valves, as the genuine items still cost a fortune, from wherever they're sourced. Very little goes wrong with these, it's limited to crank, piston and power valves. I can provide parts and rebuilds under my business MecTec Ltd, just contact me via e-mail petejones@xtra.co.nz.
