Thats what pisses me of! We have to register them to be legal so in turn we have to pay higher ACC levies, yet they dont wanna know about us?! :spudgrr:

It's a plot to show "there are bugger-all motorbikes used in New Zealand so we don't have to consider them when it comes to road marking, parking, roadside barriers etc etc ."

Well I reckon it's that they don't care what you ride because it has little or no impact on city parking or traffic.

They want to know the number of cars so they know if they have enough parking spaces and such.

To clarify this, the census form actually specifically asks you what vehicles excluding motorcycles, do you have.

I wonder why they would specifically ask you to not state motorcycles?
