    Question about Pointless Drivel

I've noticed a lot of threads get moved to Pointless Drivel... which is fine.

In Pointless Drivel, any post you reply to doesn't add to your total posts count.

If for example you post in a thread (like this one), and your post goes from 100 to 101, and then this thread is moved to Pointless Drivel, does it minus the posts from here?

    Does that make sense?
I'm not a complete idiot... some pieces are missing

Not sure about nowadays Placid but it sure used to minus off your post count. When the Religious Ravings thread was eventually moved to the PD forum I lost a whopping 600+ posts from my total, which at that time was around 1800, and I was rather ticked off...but i'm still here.

Zed, just out of curiousity why would you be ticked off that people didn't get an accurate indication of your total posts?

Well if you will make such a large contribution to a thread that was predestined for Pointless Drivel then that's what happens. It's not a coincidence that threads about religion, the environment, politics etc all end up there.

You have no idea what you're talking about newbie. KB has a *history* that you have missed out on, Pointless Drivel didn't even exist 12+ months ago!
