    Red face Needed...Carb for CBR 250

    Hi
    I have had my op and are wanting to get back on the road but I am needing a better carb for the bitch #2 She is running rough as and my mechanic says I need a new one...She is a 1992.

    I am suprised you need a *new* carb. How many ks has it done?

    Thats bullshit Kelly, no way would you need a new carb, maybe someone who has a clue at how to adjust them, at best new needles and jets but i doubt that as well.
    really dont know who to recomend for tuning carbies, someone will know someone for sure, tis a black art the carb.

    Have a talk to Vtec, he bought my old bike. The carbs on that are mint (ask anyone else who's taken me on on a 250)

    Hi ya Bruce, Yup my mechanic said that the carb has been #@!)ed around with and it is made up of all bits and pieces and a new one is needed. Remember how I told you I had that problem (your reply was SELL IT!) lol, well I rang my Mechanic dude and he reminded me thats what is needed....Bloody Alsyzmers (xcuse spelink!) gets me everytime!
