Help need an internet techo

wtf is going on???
I can't seem to launch shortcuts on webpages.
I cant seem to copy text from a webpage either

I Have IE5 & Windows2000.

tried unchecking the 're-use windows option under advanced for the IE5 shortcuts.
can't repair IE5 as the add/remove programs window is stuffed(shows no options ie. buttons or icons to click)

reboot, try firefox from mozilla.org. Could do a install of 2000 on your existing install if nothing else works. It's a bitch ya can't remove explorer from windows.

There are some issues with IE5 and Win2k. If you want to use IE again, which you dont sound like you need to anyway, install IE6 or download IE 5.5
That will sort it. Sounds like URLmon isnt registered correctly.


Another browser which Ive found is really good is Opera.
