    Well, I'm now a Grandad!

Our eldest daughter presented us with our first grandchild tonight! A healthy boy, names Aston, middle name not Marton. At 7:45pm in North Shore Hosp. Weighing 7lb 10oz. Man it only seems yesterday I was holding my daughter as our newborn! Mother, baby and Father doing well. Grandmother,
("Shutup!"), "Hee Hee!" a bit tired! Being teased unmercifully by youngest daughter's fiance! Broke out the Champas!

    Congratulations mate.
To every man upon this earth
    Death cometh sooner or late
And how can a man die better
    Than facing fearful odds
For the ashes of his fathers
And the temples of his Gods

    YAYYY!!! Zimmer frames for all!!
They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the evening,
    we will remember them

    Welcome to the grandparents club....

and the best part of it is, is when they grizzle and play up or shit their pants.... you can give them back....

Oh and you thought raising kids was expensive....
no way grandkids are a damn site more expensive..... they truely are..
cos we can spoil them with all the things the parents wont buy them....

Oh and where are the pics of the little one and grandpa...

Yeah, we're looking forward to all the perks of Grandparenting!!! Here's a pic of little Aston, but I can't find the others, as soon as I can find a couple more I'll post them.
