I hope he'll be providing pics soon.. but I suspect it may be a day or two.. Popped in to see him this evening and poor old Wolf is looking a bit shattered (I know I know, no sleep, 2 cubs to look after but juliet did all the work).

I've already said grats in person but I'll grats him again on here for posterity.. and so he doesnt kick my posterior :-)

Congrats Wolf and StrayJuliet - the baby should have held off for another day and then she would have been born on the turd of the turd like me!

Inverness is a pretty cool name, where did you get it from?
Yes, I am pedantic about spelling and grammar so get used to it!

    Happy Burfday, Beemer.

Inverness is named after her great-great grandmother (my great grandmother) who was named after the barque Inverness on account of being born on it en route to NZ. I presume the boat was named after the town in Scotland. There were a lot of other boats in service at the time starting with "Inver" such as the Inverene and others - must have been the fashion at the time to name boats after the mouths of Scottish rivers.

Instead, she was born on the "sickened of the turd"...

OK, Strayjuliet and Inverness are both back home after their stay in Waterford Birth Centre. At the moment all the kids are blissfully asleep.

Many thanks to all those well-wishers who have posted.

Edbear, how did the birth of your grandson go?

I was told I had to post the pics so here they are.
In case anyone asks: I'm beat, lol.

I was told labour got shorter each child you have. I thought that was true when Tangwyn was born after only an hour and a half labour then Inverness changed all that.

I went into labour on the 28th Feb at 9:30 pm and thought she would arrive not long after. Well boy, was I wrong.

She decided it would be best to wait till 2 march at 5:30am leaving me to labour till then. At 3am on the 2 march the contractions got down to 1 minute apart things were happening (finally) 2 and a half hours later she made her entrance into the world much to my relief. I will post more pics as I get them

My great grandparents came out on the Jura. Named after the Scotish island. There's a malt whiskey of the same name.

Congrts to all three of you. Always include baby in this ever since I read how much effort 'they' put into birthing.
