    i'm so gonna kill him!!!!!

I logged onto KB today to check a few things. Wolf did the same and informed me that he had been given some rep for this post about our new bundle of joy so I checked my rep: hmmmm, nope, no new rep for my beautiful baby girl or the pics I posted. I said "how come you got rep and I didn't?" His reply was: "Well, it's probably all the hard work I did."

Yeah, I'm sure it's hard work for the husband to watch his beloved in pain.

I think a full, public apology is in order here.

I didn't have time to get the digi-cam ready before I replied so, sorry, there are no pics of her reaction.

You can take it from me, though, it was classic!

We've been together over five years now, you'd think she'd know by now never to ask me a rhetorical question.

Well done to all of you! I've only just noticed the thread. Cute little one, but then they all are at that age, aren't they?

Amazing how much more work there is when another one comes along.

It hardly seems a year since Nicholas arrived, and now he's 80 cms long and 16 kgs... which apparently is rather big for a one-year-old.

    Enjoy those first few days...

plenty of time for sleep when you're dead.
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

Sorry, just caught up with this thread again. I posted a thread, "Well now I'm a Grandad!" with pics of little Aston. The birth went fairly well, though daughter was a total of 40hrs in labour! She's happy as can be now though as is Grandma! Your little girl is georgeous, Wolf! Congrats to you both! Everyone very well and doting on Aston. Here's another pic.

Congrats Edbear that's a cute wee chap. I think it's a grandparent's privilege to spoil the grandchildren, after all they get to give em back. It works really well if your daughter or son was a little devil when they were growing up, you can spoil the grandchild turn it into a fair little devil in order to get payback and revenge upon your children.

At least, that's what I suspect my mother is doing.

Our son... we used to say, "We hope you have six kids, all like you!" But he grew up to be a prety hard working laid back young man! He's 30 now, and married but no kids. Our daughter was the "perfect child", if there's any such thing! She always tried so hard to make us proud of her and really was a pleasure from the day she was born. No, I don't know what we did to deserve it either... All she ever wanted to be was a Mum and she's made us proud again. Youngest daughter was a breeze, by the third one you pretty much know what to do and you relax a lot more. She gets married in July, so we'll be "Darby and Joan" I guess, suffering from empty nest syndrome, etc. But yeah, we do dote on Aston, I'm home alone at the mo. cause wifey has taken our visiting friends around to see him. Giving birth is one of those things that make me glad I'm a guy... BUt seeing your own child born is an experience every man should have! Congrats again to you both.
