    Nikwax Visorproof.

This is a new water repellant treatment for visors along the lines of Rainex for windscreens. For the first time in three weeks I managed to test it this morning and it does work. Rain does seem to bead and run off quicker at commuting speeds.
Unlike similar products, this is formulated to be safe on Lexan visors.
    RRP is $21.50 inc.
Stock will be in next week.

You don't need this stuff - just lanesplit a bit quicker and let the wind do it's job.

Sounds like just what I need to stop rain seeping through my visor...

So I've heard. Don't know for certain, but I've stopped using it a while ago.

Don't know yet. I'll probably hit fog in the Waikato next month.

Sounds great - I use Pledge but this sounds better, might get some.

RainX will NOT damage a good quality Lexan visor but it will damage non-Lexan ones over time. I've used RainX for a long time but will be switching over to the the Nikiwax to give it a try.

It works beautifully in fog, low cloud, and heavy rain. It even hangs about post bug cleaning, provided you are gentle.

Or you could take flute lessons and learn how to hold it.
