Oh really? that's news to me too.

The only time I recall the ZZR being in front of me was when I stopped to wait for the missus at the back of the group. After speaking to her, I managed to catch and pass most of the others until I caught Quasi, and decided to sit behind him as I'd cooked my rear tyre by that stage and the road was pretty shit anyway, I think the only one's ahead of him where Korn and the ZZR.

So I think someone's been telling you fibs..... unless of course, giving a 10min head start counts as 'the learn'.

On a side note, gave a ZX10R and a ZX12R the learn up the kaimai's the other day, that was fun

Do it again fer sure. The Loop was awesome to ride yesterday as usual, a few spots of roadworks here and there but only a minor inconvenience. Good meeting up with you Toast, i enjoyed swapping the lead with you throughout the ride, you rode the 929 well and were getting around those sharp twisties in good time for only owning the bike two weeks! Let me know when you intend on going down to the track and i'll try and join you!

Did the Loop anti-clockwise for the 1st time and I enjoyed it more going that direction, stopped at Whitianga for lunch, and ended up parting company at Kaiaua where we saw boomers ugly mug! Thanks for the company Toast.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention Zed:

    1) solid wheelies

    2) massive lean when you decided to pass me and give me the learn on the approach to Whitianga

    3) extremely glad you came along, not just for the company, but to be there to tell me that exhaust was about to snap off, and providing tools to remedy the situation. Cheers again

Depends on what you're after...downhill corners can be challenging and fun too...uphill gives lotsa confidence.
