Btw Lou - where did you stash all this stuff?
3x 41 litre Givi bags and an Oxford Humpback tank bag.

This was a week, we carry the same load for 2 weeks.
The brilliant thing is how well the bike handles with this load - full preload on the Ohlins, 2 clicks more rebound and 1 click more compression and you hardly feel the weight in corners, ultra stable, it just wheelies like a bastard. 1/4 to 1/2 throttle in 1st and up it comes, purely unintentional Officer, honestly.

    Seems about right Lou...

I have to go lighter on the shoes 'cos we only have small soft bags (bloody shoes are the worst hing to pack) and we take less shirts but have to take all my shit like insulin, testing strips etc which we pack into a cooler bag..

We can (just) manage overnight camping...

    Didn't use all the stuff.
You allways pack more than you will ever need just in case!
Thats what they have got shops for, let them carry the stuff you (read she) "might" need. Cheers John.

Next long trip for two and I have a new plan...
I am going to courier clean clothes and a return courier bag enclosed!
Then when she (I can fester in leathers indefinatly) requires clothing replenishment it will be waiting at a pre-booked hotel all pre-arranged mid way through the journey.
Then we can toss all the dirty clothes in the return courier bag and go on our merry way without the kitchen sink etc in the 'bags
