............... i'm not bagging the idea but just wonder why? i mean - riding is riding .... what would be the purpose of being gender exclusive?

i mean - how would you-all feel if someone was suggesting a 'guys only' ride here?

I know what you're saying mstrimph. I have never felt the need to go on a girls only ride, but from talking to other ladies I know that some feel intimidated riding with blokes when they're just starting out. I think this ride is being set up to enable some ladies to get out on a group ride in a relaxed and comfortable environment, where they can meet other like-minded chics. It's just like having a girls night out that all us girlies do from time to time. I reckon it will probably be a heap of fun.

And if blokes want to have a guys only ride then good on em. They can do the "my dick's bigger than yours" male bonding thing to their hearts content.

Guage interest then PM time date location so no guys can turn up....?

It doesn't worry me that the girls wanna do their own thing, the only ones concerned are the insecure ones....

    lol

I agree with you RiffRaff, it's just a fun thing, and some girls do find it intimidating to ride with the guys when they are first starting out.

I don't think it would matter too much if there were guys on the ride at all, just that the focus can be girlies for once.

But I'd like to think the emphasis was on doing a damn good ride regardless of who comes along...
