Remember also that there are older cancer kids (12-16 year olds) think about them too. Also new toys are better unless the toys have been washed. Older toys may contain germs and these kids have no resistance cause of the radio or chemo treatment.

    Just a couple of thoughts.

Bought a new toy on my way here today. A cool looking little dog so good for any age really. Hell might get one for myself lol.

And since it's sunday I guess that means I can sleep in tomorrow. Or update the bikes registration....

Ok can someone please tell me where it ends as my mother is minding the brats and is wanting to meet us at the end to give me back the kids as she would have spoilt them by time it finishes lol. Wolf and myself will be attending this year rather than me just meeting him at the end, ok we will be on seperate bikes, but hey at least its a bike ride and for a good cause.

If you see this gorgeous pillion on the back of a candy blue Blackbird, it's me. Sunglasses supplied courtesy of one of our kids who is blissfully unaware that I've lifted them. After all, you wouldn't want your pillion to get flies in his eyes, would you???

Hey Stray Juliet, I'm pretty sure its garden place but if some one else could confirm that it would be great.

Also can we have another check on what time we are leaving from the caltex cause from previous posts its sounds like the times could be running a bit late.

    Cheers

Took a bit of looking, but finally found this on "What's On Hamilton" website & confirms that it ends in Garden Place as it has for the last 2 years.

    http://www.whatsonhamilton.co.nz/eve...th=2&Year=2006

Police direction & traffic stopping was fantastic last year, so you shouldn't find yourself sat on your bike while it overheats until you're actually on Victoria Street.

Any word on meeting/leaving Caltex earlier that previously mentioned? It sure is great to check out the bikes & catch up with bodies before the run & I'm staying just around the corner in Newstead on Saturday night.

OK, I will be at the Cobham Drive Caltex as close to 8:30am as I can (so i have time to drink some coffee)... and with Warr's advice, I think we'll go ahead with that idea, and try get to Cambridge by 9:30am.

Warr: does that mean we need to leave Caltex @ 9:10/9:15? Just came through Cambridge about an hour ago from Turangi (nice 525km extra on my bike ...scenic route aka I couldn't read the map properly) ...um, yeah, as i was saying, can't remember how long it takes to get to Cambridge from Hamilton, but I gather everyone knows how long it takes... I'm guessing 20 minutes max.

K, I'm just rambling now, so yeah, will be good to see everyone there just before 9:00am so we can leave at 9:10am.

    Cya then
