The CBX With the half fairing used to belong to an elderly car sprayer from Leamington just outside Cambridge. He had a shed full of fantastic stuff incluting an original, unrestored Model T which his father used when he was young. Don't know what happened to the chap - heard that he became quite ill from spray paint fumes .

    thanks

oh, also, since i cleaned the spark plug, i can jam the throttle wide open till i hit about 112km/h and only then does it splutter... (i used to get to 100km/h, and had to have the throttle not 'fully' opened other wise it would splutter)

Yes, it's official, I am now fast enough to get an open road speeding ticket (although the possibility is still very low)

Moral of this story?? I really don't know! You can't watch your bike every second of the day, and you can't stop the public from perving at our bikes.
Could have been worse though..imagine if the bikes had been closer together, would have been like that insurance ad on telly where the bikes go down like dominoes!
Wasnt a little dark skinned downs syndrome kid was it? If so she tried to steal my sunnies then bashed me when I held onto them, then nearly got belted when she ran off with some other dudes helmet and wouldnt give it back without a fight.

    Damn ungrateful kiddies...

Cartman woulda said: "You get your bitch-ass back in the kitchen and make me some pie...

The voices in my head woulda said: "Hey kid... help yourself to some GET THE F**K AWAY FROM MY BIKE"

.....I miss my sanity..... but only sometimes

I can be seen on the R.H.S of that shot. The Red (Of course) Ducati just above the older CBR1000. Sis is in the grey top with a jacket on one shoulder, with Ma beside her in a blue top and a jacket on the shoulder, and I'm in the black just to the right of Sis.

It was Ma's first toy run and 2nd time on a bike after 12 years of me trying to get her on one. Result: Ear to ear grin and then some.

LimBimNOGOTimWim joined me for a the ride back to Welly yesterday. The RVF seemed to be moving along quite happily.

    Some Pics

better late than never, here are some pics I took during the course of the day. SlashWylde, will you be posting some of yours up here too?
The bike red bastard was the V8 bike, don't know much about this bike but would sure appreciate it if someone could enlighten us about it a wee bit more. Also the last two pics are my bike and SlashWylde's (Red Kawasaki) then some bugger went and parked his thorn between two roses
