Hey Bend-it I thought that you did really well, especially considering that those roads aren't the best even in daylight. Good on you for getting out there, it'll only get easier... Was good to meet you, see ya next week!

Thanks all for another fantastic night.
Don't worry Velox, for those of us who can't get enough - we'll still be out on Thursday nights.

My attendence at rides during winter is dictated by whatever my partner is doing with our dogs (no jokes please). Summer is bike first, winter is dogs first. Makes it hard to attend either TRTNR or TCWNR during winter.

Was there a camera coming outta Karori? Jeez, that's gonna hurt. I saw two of those speed sign things, one told me I was doing 34 (or was that the car I was passing?) and the other said SLOW, so I sped up, but it still kept saying SLOW. Must have been listening to the fast crew then, I guess I really am just a pussy. And some mufti on the mway just missed a serious flyby, luckily the streetlights glinted off his rear parcel tray lights just in time

I think I prefer TCWNR to TRTNR during winter anyway - I'm not into pace in the dark. Bike headlights ain't that great, and get worse the further over you're cranked.

Good turnout, good bunch. And Mikey's paintjob is spectacular

Str8 Jkt> Thanks, will keep out there riding, always with the L in the pocket!

Yeah, did see the cop on the motorway and man, I'm glad he was busy fiddling with his camera and didn't do any license checks of anything... Handy, them reflecting streetlights!

Didn't see the cop in Karori though, I did leave before most, and maybe they decided to set up after hearing about us down at the pub!

nah apparently theres one down the other street heading to the uni but not on the one we were on so it should be all good.

both those temp ones said i was doing 00 km/h (the reason why i was speeding anyway).

by the way does anyone know how slippery that green bus lane paint is?

Wasp has kindly volunteered to lead the group & come up with this weeks destination.

    See you there

Got the bike back today with a fixed fork seal and ive bumped the idle up abit and its running a tad better, also trialing half a tank of 95.

Got my car learners today (dont even start with me) and booked my bike restricted for the 20th at 4pm so i should have it intime for the newbie ride

Still havnt figured out a route, akatarawawasawas valley anyone? its time to face my fears of it.

and youll be pleased to know that the elephants have flown back across the ditch on their migration back to the pond.
