Squid Night - Monday, 6th March

Fucken awesome night, I had heaps of fun binning Marks death trap of a Pitbike and managed to pop a few little wheelies on the thing (photos of the damage to come). Thanks for putting it togeather Bruce, there wasn't as many bikes this time however I enjoyed it more, and so did everyone else by the looks of it with more people joining in.

Anyway, I got some good video footage of mostly Bruce and Zed (fuck can that guy wheelie now) and compiled it togeather, a bunch of other bikes too so worth a look if you are on broadband or don't mind waiting all night for it to download.

(Its compressed so I could upload it, but if you want to see better quality send me a PM and i'll consider going to the trouble of uploading it somewhere else to be viewed)

    Pictures to follow...

    Texmo Crashing

Texmo pulled a mean wheelie, seriously, this thing was fucking 12 o'clock and going, eventually (as he said) he almost got it back then it went off to the left and he came off. This picture captures that moment, you can somewhat clearly make it out.

    Fucken mint photo.

The second is him aftwards with fellow Squidillians providing assistance.

    Last two pictures

These are the last ones I can be bothered posting.

One is of Zed, fucking beautiful wheelies dude, very impressed, sorry the picture is a little fuzzy but everyone gets the idea - you know how to wheelie.

Other is of Texmo giving Mark the learn when it comes to burnouts.

    Death trap Pitbike

Managed to pop a few wheelies myself.

Fucked up when something went wrong with the bike ... I'm assuming with the chain been so bloody loose it came off and locked up the back wheel, as I was going fairly slow in a straight line when it happeed.

Jeans fucken suck, look at the damage at low speed on a pitbike! time to get knee pads and no more open road riding in jeans. Fuck that shit.

Elbow got pretty banged up, though jacket had armour, little bruise but fuck does it hurt, my hold side occasionally tingles. I know it looks like shit, and it is, just scratches, but I'm surprised... around 20kmph bin on a fucken pitbike (of all bikes) ... 120kmph on open road ... would of been rooted. Just wanted to share the emphasis on the need for decent gear.

Thanks for taking a look at it Nicksta. Much apreciated.

Now do you know why some of us only ride in full body armour - and why I hated the fact that you were riding in jeans on the last Coro loop.

Nice pics by the way. May see you on this Thu night ride.

Yea well i had my eye on that van i'm after one to transport me race bike around, may of veered towards it a couple of times, ya know the hole look where you're going to crap.
Yea i blew a fork seal at some stage and was wondering why i had no front brakes so back to the workshop again, might as well do the head bearings while i'm at it, they're showing the abuse
