Are you using my name in vain???

It's actually quite an apt handle, never thought about it that way.

    Arrow

    Golden Rule for this ride:

When you come to an intersection or turnoff, if there is no-one behind you please stop until the next rider comes into your sights, that way he'll know which way to turn and won't get lost!

The last person through must be the volunteer TEC (tail end charlie) who will remain at the back of the entire group until the regrouping points. There will be about 3 regrouping points/locations for the Ak crew going down to Kopu, and only 2 regrouping points on the actual Loop. This rule more applies to the Ak-Kopu journey though, as the Coro Loop is basically one continuous road with few turnoffs...

Also, please make sure that you gas up at Papakura before 9am, and/or gas up at Kopu as soon as we arrive there, so we are not held up waiting.

    Cheers,

    Zed

Someone has already volunteered to TEC the Loop, but I'll need someone different from Ak-Kopu who actually knows the route I plan to take (and it ain't SH1 or 2), so will confirm that all in the morning, will talk with you then, make sure u come and introduce yourself to me at Papakura k.

I'm more than happy to be a TEC until we get to Kopu. I know the route well as I've organised a few rides down that way myself.

    JSG

Oops, miss understood. I meant earlier than Paeroa, not earlier than 0830.... Fark, do you think I'm crazy mate? 0830's pushing it for me!

Anyway, got a pm from Tony saying he'll make Summit at 0830 hopefully. Think I've still got his number anyway so can give him a ring to see if he's sitting at Tauriko

text from Fishlayer, who's already head out to the coromandle (no, not to get a head start..):

There are several patches of gravel from the hill at Wilson Bay, back towards thames if going anti clockwise.

I have no idea where that is, so I hope someone else does. And I imagine it's all sign posted..

I might see you guys out there. I'm actually planning to leave a little earlier than y'all, and am just flying solo...sorry to be anti-social. I feel like going clockwise too, so will give y' peeps a wave :spudwave:

Hey...I do don't I? Maybe that's something else to work on then...

I basically just feel like being a loner...can concentrate more on my own thang that way. Gotta get my riding more sorted. Found some areas to work on, on last week's ride (cheers for the feedback helping that Matt )...now gotta put it in to action, so I can really start enjoying it again

Also if its a T junction please either turn left or right, not straight into a tree.
