    Where's Du Vin intersection?

Anyway, I had a good ride out today. I think I saw you bunch at that pub near the one way bridge...dunno the town's name. I couldn't see the stealth fighter that is BJ's 636 though, and I thought (know) that I saw that just before I left from Papakura. Maybe he went elsewhere though.

I had a great ride myself. Moderate amount of road works around, but no real drama. Heaps of campervans out, but easily despatched they were. No rain, though the West side of the Peninsula was a bit damp when I was riding up.

Going solo gave me heaps of time to work on my riding, and I was feeling a million times better after it. Still making a few mistakes here and there, but overall feeling heaps more confident after changing my body position on the bike a bit. The 'Blade seems to want you to stay right the hell out of the front end equation once the bike's in a corner, even more so than other bikes. So, weighting the pegs way more and gripping with elbows and knees and she's all sweet

    Join you guys next time...

Cost yer a ride on the beasty..Had a great ride also being my first Loop on the new Busa. Different to me old girl for sure and a little more challenging in the real tight stuff than the Bandit (suspect its a wheelbase & weight thing) but not too much of a problem though I took it slow and hope I didn't hold anyone up.. One thing I have learned is that that rear tyre certainly has a limit to the amount of horse power that it can put to the road when accelerating out of a tight bend..! Gotta watch that one..
Oh yeah thanks to Zed for a well organised ride..
If you love it, let it go. If it comes back to you, you've just high-sided!

Just now got home, washed the bike & leathers and now i'm completely stuffed!

Everything about the ride was positive imo, weather, roads (there's always roadworks!), riders, food & conversation.

Thanks to all those who attended, I counted 22 bikes at one stage and I know of 3 more who caught us up at Coromandel town. 1/3 of the group decided to double back from Coro town after lunch so there was only about a dozen of us who carried on anti-clockwise to Kopu and then back home, so I hope all went well for those riders, Gareth, Bugjuice, CaN, etc.

Good on you guys who rode up from Te Puke, Tauranga, etc, and a special thanks to Mr Peripheral for volunteering to go TEC for the whole ride, you're always welcome on my rides bud!

Thanks to everyone for making this another enjoyable and successful KB group ride!

    Zed

Ps. Looking forward to the pics Trev, you da man!
