    WTB: any cheap engine

I'm after any cheap complete engine. A four stroker with 2+ cylinders would be good. Just want one to pull apart and see how the guts of it work.
Hopefully if its easy i can then strip my own one and tidy it up.

I own a 88 Fizzer 2kr, but it dont matter if its a different engine.

    anything considered.

Also does anyone know where i could source one from? maybe a wrecks, not to sure where bouts any would be in welly.

Sometimes they have some on trademe...

most wreckers you will pay through the teeth even for a blown engine.

Lump lingered last in line for brains,
And the ones she got were sort of rotten and insane...

where opinion holds more weight than fact.

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.

your prob best to have a look on www.howstuffworks.com , thats where you'll find how an engine works, as for tidying it up, it would be hard to know what to tidy unless you know what to look for, im helpin my nieghbbour rebuild an aircraft engine, and theres not really much you can to for tidying up and engine, besides from replaceing gaskets, pistons rings, valve grinding, getting stuff crack tested, checking for sloppyness in parts, and few small things like that,

but still, go ahead and buy an engine, and read articles while your lookin at the engine, the idea is simple, but when u get down to the nitty gritty they are preatty complicated
    good luck with it

yah been on there, but its just not the same as gettin all covered in grease and s**t. The bottom and top gaskets need replacing before they get any worse.. It looks easy enough in the manual, but like you said, theres problably quite a bit involved. I supose i could just take it into the mechanic but shes an old girl and i don't wanna spend heaps of money tryin to tart her up. Any ideas of how much it would cost?
