    I was a hero...briefly...

Yup the lights were out in Kelston and none of the traffic would stop and let the cages on West Coast Road through...So I rode past the line of traffic and Stopped on coming traffic so that the cages could get through. They were most appreciative and called out "Thanks Mate" I replied with my sexy femme voice "No worries" God its good to make people smile

Thanks guys...At first I think they thought I was being a smart bitch overtaking them and then when they realised what I was doing it soon cheered them up

Good thing no-one ran you over - road rage is terrible these days (Of course they would have been biting off more than they could chew!!)
They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the evening,
    we will remember them

    What Biff said........
To every man upon this earth
    Death cometh sooner or late
And how can a man die better
    Than facing fearful odds
For the ashes of his fathers
And the temples of his Gods

Thank you - but I bet many of the people on here would have done exactly the same thing. Several have without getting the gongs.

Some of the editorial people on here helped me publish it too. I think it's a good yarn.
