Check out hire centres. They frequently have stock that they are disposing of and are likely to sell one to you rather than go through the hassles of sending it to auction.
The independant operators are a better bet than the big outfits.

Try : www.kiwicamping.co.nz and check out Gazebos on trade me there is a guy in Tauranga who advertises motor sport Gazebos which look quite robust, it may be under the home and garden section.
Don't buy those shit arse ones from the warehouse or Supercheap they blow to bits in strong winds.
