    SH22 ride - sunday 12/03/2006

    RIDE POSTPONED see post #13

I've finally got the Bandit back together, so am going on a last ride on the Zeal down SH22 before I sell it.

I'll be leaving the Papakura Autobahn/BP at 9am.
Route will be Great South road, Ridge road, SH22 to Ngaruawahia then possibly heading back through Glen Afton and some of the other back roads to get to SH22 again.

    Anyone is welcome.
    Ride at your own pace.

I don't want to come, I've got heaps of chores to catch up on, I'm slowy going broke paying for petrol, my wretched rear tyre like my ugly head is balding quite badly, the chain and sprockets need replacing too, god knows what the oil looks like it's been nearly 5K's of my usual riding.......

Damn you Erik - I hate you for making me come on this ride

Make sure you kick that ZZR rider out of bed and drag him along too. Been a while since I last rode a ZZR.

But you are constantly inspecting your oil level during rides...

But even other people report seeing you check your oil levels, even while on the move!

It's just one of those days, where you don't wanna wake up,
    everything is fucked, everybody sucks,
You don't really know why but you wanna justify ripping someone's head off

No the MC22 comes with a dip stick not a window, the oil should be fine, was only filled a month or so ago - still I should have checked it.

I checked the tyres, radiator, coolant and brake fluid levels, chain condition rear sprocket, rocker cover gasket, exhaust manifold screws/bolts, alternator cover gasket, gear lever bolt, fairing stiff ness = loose bolts and whatever you can see by glancing over your baby in 2 mins.

I'll post around 9 to confirm whether I'm still going.

You do all that while your riding, I understand what you doing now.
