well i did the loop solo earlier that morning. couldn't see a thing (fog) from Hunua to Kopu which was slow going. stopped in Thames for much needed gas & power drink. could see nothing toward coro, but clear skies through the hills so set off to whanga then whitianga & on to coro for a coffee. what a beautiful day it was and the road was in pretty good nick also. stopped to admire Cajun's shiny new gsxr on the way back(nice bike btw) & seen the group (I assume was You guys heading into thames). I laughed to myself cos i was being 'sociable' & nodding out to the riders but there were so many bikes i thought "this is ridiculous, there's got to be a better way" lol, but cheers anyway guys. I was quite surprised at the number of nice bikes & the quality of riding gear everyone seemed to be wearing, good on You guys. And going through the built up area with cars etc. everyone was riding considerately & around the speed limit. Glad most enjoyed themselves and better luck next time with the carnage.

Sheesh 300km, and he didn't even have the fun of running it in properly.

most definitely. I have a corsa on at the moment and its done nothing but impress me under wet accleration and stability at pukekohe. she's pretty flattened in the middle now after the highway blasting so its giving out little shimmies when crossing white lines- but thats to be expected.

I've got around 8,000 km's on it so far. Thats included a reasonably hard day at pukekohe where I played around with my tyre pressures to find a good setting (and in the process did a bit of damage) and a majority of commuting.

i'll probably get a second hand stock diablo to replace it just to easy the finances for now.

Oh from what I have heard he had fun running it in, stoppies and wheelies from the get go.

If you were on the roadside and looked away for a few seconds, you probably would have missed the 250km wheelie as he passed by!

He maybe as good as they come as far as road riders go. Shit happens (gravel?). Enough said... time to forget and move on.

Hi Quasi, Death & I are keen to join you (providing the controversy of our weekend excursion hasn't put you off). Let us know when, and we'll be there providing the babysitter is available.
    Cheers, Draco.

    Cheers
