Nah this is the section that comes from the west coast across to Kopu.
Circled in green. Not sure what section it is or how far in cause wasn't paying much attention.

i cant remember any dodgy bits thru there...
but then , i wasnt paying much attention as to where i was on the map

That's the Kopu-Hik. Was fine on Saturday, that was the only bit of road I got to enjoy before my tyre went to shit.

Haha, yeah was starting to enjoy it once I got used to the feel of it and changed my lines..... but can't understand why noone wanted to follow me, everyone seemed to drop back?

Must be something new then (and hopefully fixed by next saturday) since I can't remember it from saturday either. There was another section that just had some small loose gravel on it on saturday though maybe that is what y'all are talking about.

I did that section twice 2 days ago, and I'd do it again now.. it's really no biggie, just have to slow down and be careful. The rest of the road is well worth the 1k or so of metal
