    Talking South Island

    Hi All,

Ok had enough of the North Island so I'm heading south for the winter lol well ok it only seems like that its actually only 9 days of touring. Im heading over on the ferry tomorrow night and I'd like to catch up with some KBer's in the main land, at the moment I'm looking at CHCH on Thursday/Friday night ( yes just in time for the rugby ), so any suggestions for a good pub and meet to watch the ruggers cool ( although I may need directions. BTW Jimmy where are you, need to catch up, so stop your sorry ass study and get me a beer lol

then I was thinking of the big D for Sunday night and yes I know its a big coincidence that the rugby is on there too lol, so same again sounds good

All those who are keen say Aye and suggestions here ( or if there is already a kb event I missed the can you also let me know, I'll be internet cafing it so that should be ok ).

And I'll try and post my progress so if you see I'm heading your way let me know, I'm keen to find some good sites to see and I'm sure some Nice KBer's over a beer/coffee ( depending if its morning or night, beer in the morning coffee at night that is lol )

    Cheers Candyman

the meet up sounds good, but the plan for friday has changed lol, thats what comes from un unplanned holiday lol. I'm in westport today after avoiding the rain that was hitting the coast, so I believe that I am now going to Blackball??? is that right? Pete and Ian said its a real plast on Friday night, so should be over in CHCH sat/sunday, but meeting up for a beer and pool or something like that sounds cool

Holy Grail is always a good place to watch the rugby if you've never been there before

lol sorry man didn't mean to leave you hanging, but the places we stayed at didn't have any internet or even cell phone coverage.

And now I have one very sick cold from coming iver Arthers pass, The snow was only about 200 feet above the road level and it was sleating when I came through. At the moment I am so drugged up you wouldn't beleive me. Ian peter and Amy, have baby sat me all the way back to picton ( since the ferry leaves tomorrow ), So I'm gonna chill and relax, and not ride my bike till then ( my bum is so raw you wouldn't believe it lol )

As for the bike, well I blew a set of rear break pads going through buller gorge, and today I clipped the side of a rock that made Mt Cook look small and now I have a ding in the rim, but other than that she ran sweet, she even helped me out with a lady lol
