I don't know either of you personally so haven't any idea how you ride but I sure as hell (read heaven for Zed) would like to be able to watch the race if you have one for real.

Sorry to sound like your Nana but I couldn't count on both hands how many guys I have known start out a race like you guys are leading to on the road and they are all bloody dead. Dumb idea

I don't know anything about race track riding but at least it would be an even start on a neutral track! Sounds good to me, I like it.

Please don't leave me out of the info loop. who??? Cheers John.

    .
    Totally agree....

Been down this road myself and thank goodness it worked out OK and nothing bad came of it. I still have nightmares about what could have happened and can't help but think about how shite I would have felt if my 'opponent' had gotten hurt or lost his bike over it as neither of us could really have afforded it. Once we were mates, I got sick of him gobbing off about his bloody Ducati and did a stupid thing and called him on it. (worse than you are proposing) Nothing was ever the same afterwards.

I lost a mate and a lot of self respect. Stupid.

I think both of you can retire claiming a moral victory and leave it alone. If you can't. Please. Take it outside and off this forum before some other dipstick calls someone else out and we have death race 3000.

Worse. The Police start taking notice. What do you think is going to happen if one of you is seriously hurt and this load of bollocks is bought to their attention? Think of the impact on others, track days etc and stop being so selfish!

I know of a disused train track they could use........
They would need to attach trainer wheels, which i could see as being a bit of a set back, and passing could pose a problem, and there would be no dragging of the knee, but the scenery would undoubtedly magnificent............

Now then behave yourself or I'll ground you (replace your front wheel with one made of lead and fill your tyre with concrete).

That's convicting Paul, please, no more.

I'll come clean and admit that it was all a bit of a piss take from me from the beginning, even though i would/will race him on the track. Mikey has often unprovokingly baited me on KB and mostly i've held back, but this time he got a BIG bite!
