all items (including the kiwi rider magazine) were supposed to be gst inclusive

it struck me as odd that it cost so much, but i dismissed it after arguing with the woman for a while.

look at the last line

now look on your copy of kiwi rider next to where it says $10.00 and notice gst incl

They have just itemised the gst content after the total. Try adding it up.

errr.. what are you complaining about again? It adds up. If you want your bill to be lower then cut out the icecreams..

That just says there is $3.41 GST content in the bill. Saves you working it out. I assume you were charged 30.67 not 34.08?

30.67 adds up to the amounts shown dude, all tax reciepts show the portion that was tax

work it out. all the item come to 26.40 or something similiar.
then there is gst on top of that

I worked it out the 1st time. The items add up to $30.67. $3.41 is 1/9th of $30.67, and is merely there for your convenience to advise you what the GST content of $30.67 is.

Maybe you chowed down on those ice creams a bit quick, have an ice cream headache, and aint thinking straight. Anyway, you owe the woman you argued with an apology.

nope, the items add up to $30.67 incl of GST ($3.41)

as *everybody* has said, no issue with that invoice... quit while your behind...

Yup I agree. the $3.41 is merely the GST content of 30.67 and only displayed on the receipt. This is for when it is claimed back on GST returns.

If you were being charged GST on top of $30.67, it would have been $3.83.
