    That's been going on for ages now. Honda have licensed out their basic 4 stroke engines all over the show now, and you will find them in all sorts of power equipment. I bought a 2.2kVa generator the other day, which was powered by .... you guessed it, a Chinese Honda copy engine.

    heaps of stuff gets made in chine, it's simply more economical.
    even RECORD bench vices are, they shifted their casting machinery etc from england to china. they do just as good a job as anywhere else!
